Tthis dessert is Holiday Heaven!!! Eggnog and Gingerbread are my two favorite flavors!!
Ingredients: -1 large (3.4 oz) vanilla pudding mix -3 cups of eggnog - 1 box of spice cake mix -1 tbs of molasses -1 tsp of cinnamon -1 tsp of nutmeg -1 tub of cool whip -Ginger Snap Cookies Directions: In a bowl combine the vanilla pudding mix with the 3 cups of eggnog. Set in the fridge til firm. In another bowl make your spice cake mix (follow the instructions on the back by adding eggs, water, vegetable oil etc.. whatever your box says). Then add the molasses, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well and bake according to your box instructions. Once the cake is cool, begin to assemble your Trifle in a Trifle dish (or you can assemble in small glass cups). Cut up the cake into cubes and add into your dish as the bottom layer. Then add the eggnog pudding, then a layer of the cool whip. Repeat. Sprinkle the top with crushed ginger snap cookies. Place in the fridge until you are ready to serve. Yummmm!!

I LOVE Eggnog!! If you love eggnog just as much as I do then you will love this easy eggnog milkshake recipe.
Ingredients: -1 cup of eggnog -1 cup of vanilla ice cream - 6 Ginger Snap cookies -whip cream Directions: Blend the ice cream, eggnog and cookies. Pour into a glass and top with whip cream. To make it INSANE I garnished the rim with frosting and crushed ginger snap cookies. I also added an eggnog cake roll and homemade eggnog donuts. I had to make donuts using my absolute favorite holiday beverage, EGGNOG!!!
Ingredients: -1 cup of flour -1/3 cup of sugar -3/4 tsp of baking powder -1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon -pinch of nutmeg -1/4 tsp of salt -1/2 cup of eggnog -1 egg -2 tbs of vegetable oil -1/2 tsp of vanilla extract Eggnog Glaze -3 tbs of eggnog -2 tbs of water -1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar Directions: Prheat the oven to 425 degrees and lightly grease your donut pan. In abowl, whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Then add the eggnog, egg, vegetable oil and vanilla until mixed well. Put the batter in a large ziploc bag and cut the tip and fill the donut pan. Bake for 6-7 minutes. To make the the glaze , just simply whisk together the powdered sugar, eggnog and water. Once cool dip into the eggnog glaze. I am obsessed with eggnog so when I came across a recipe for eggnog pie I just HAD to try it! This is super simple and AMAZING!
I found this recipe on lovefromtheoven.com Ingredients: 1 3.4 oz package of vanilla instant pudding mix 1 1/4 cups of eggnog 1/3 cup of milk 1/2 tsp of nutmeg 1 cup of Cool Whip Whipped Topping, thawed 1 graham cracker pie crust Directions: In a bowl mix the eggnog, milk and nutmeg. Then fold 1 cup of the Cool Whip into the mixture and combine. Pour into pie crust and let it set in the fridge for at least 3 hours. Then top with some Cool Whip and you can also sprinkle a little nutmeg. If you are a fan of eggnog then you must try this recipe. |
