Are you looking for something easy to bring to a 4th of July BBQ? Well I got you covered! Nobody likes to turn on the oven in the summer so this is a super easy no bake dessert idea for your 4th of July festivities. Ingredients: -2 loaves of pound cake cubed -1 can of strawberry topping -1 8 oz container of whipped cream cheese -1 tub of Cool Whip thawed -sliced strawberries -blueberries Directions: Place the cubed pound cake on the bottom of a casserole dish as the bottom layer of the cake. Next spread the strawberry topping. Combine the cream cheese and cool whip together then spread that as the top and final layer of the cake. Lastly, apply the blueberries and the strawberries on the top of the cake to decorate it as the American flag. Super easy and delicious! Happy 4th of July!

I am obsessed with milkshakes! I have a major sweet tooth so I love to make them over the top! I wanted to share my INSANE 4th of July Milkshake that I recently made.
I took my milkshake glass and decorated the rim with frosting and red and blue candies. I then took some strawberry syrup and poured it into the glass. I was trying to create a decorative lining on the inside of the glass but the syrup just fell down to the bottom. I poured in my vanilla milkshake mixture and then decorated with chocolate covered marshmallows and some festive 4th of July cake treats. I of course then topped with whipped cream, red sprinkles and an American flag. Yummm! I LOVE chocolate covered strawberries!! So I had to the seize the opportunity to make some red, white and blue strawberries for the 4th of July.
You will need: -Strawberries -white melting chocolate -blue sprinkles Directions: Melt the white melting chocolate according to directions (about a minute in the microwave). Then take the strawberry and dip into the chocolate but don't completely dip the entire strawberry. You want to leave some of the top undipped to show red. Then dip the tip of the strawberry into blue sprinkles and lay on some wax paper to dry. You can then place in the fridge to harden and then enjoy! |
