You will need:
-red apples -white melting chocolate -green food coloring -a tbs or so of vegetable shortening Directions: In a microwave safe bowl, pour in your white melting chocolate. Melt by following the directions on the back of the package. Then add a few drops of green food coloring. For a nice bright green use neon green food coloring. When you add liquid to the melting chocolate you will notice the consistency changes. Add a tbs or so of shortening and microwave a few seconds more until you have a smooth consistency. When the chocolate is slightly cool. place in a sandwich bag and cut off the tip. Then begin piping the chocolate onto the apple. First do an outline for the nose and eyes. (similar in shape to a skeleton's nose and eyes). Then begin to add the drips and you can fill in and smooth with a toothpick. I just covered the front portion of the apple. You don't have to cover the whole thing. Poison apple anyone? Happy Halloween! ![]()

Did you know Vampires love cupcakes? Well of course they do! Make these cool Vampire Bite Cupcakes!
You will need: -Vanilla cupcakes topped with white icing -Toothpick -candy blood -Plastic vampire teeth Directions: Simply make two bite marks into your vanilla cupcake with a toothpick. Then using a spoon, pour your candy blood into the holes and have it drip down the side of the cupcake. Then I took plastic vampire teeth and cut it in half. Then I inserted it on the top. Yummm! I love root beer floats! This is a great Halloween spin to my favorite Diner beverage and a sweet treat great for the kiddos!
Ingredients: -vanilla cream -strawberry soda -strawberry syrup -whipped cream -candy blood(optional) Directions: Drizzle some strawberry syrup on the inside of a glass. Put in a few scoops of vanilla ice cream. Pour some strawberry soda and top with whipped cream! To make it extra bloody, drizzle some candy blood. Garnish with a straw and vampire teeth. It is sinfully good! I love the brain molds found at the local dollar store. You can typically use the mold to make a jello brain but I don't really care for jello. I wanted to make something much more savory instead. I came across this recipe for a brain dip and it came out delicious!
Mushroom Soup Cream Cheese Brain Dip Ingredients: -1 (10 oz) can of cream of mushroom soup -1 (8oz) pkg of cream cheese softned -1 envelope of unflavored gelatin dissolved in 1/4 cup of water -1 bunch of green onions chopped -1 cup of mayo -1 tbs of hot sauce Directions: In a medium sauce pan heat the mushroom soup and stir in the cream cheese. Once mixed well, remove from heat. Stir in the gelatin. In a separate bowl, combine the soup mixture, green onions, mayo and hot sauce. Spray cooking spray on the brain mold and pour in dip mixture. Cover and chill in the fridge until firm for several hours. When you are ready to serve place the mold in a bowl with hot water to make removal from mold easier. Enjoy with some bread or crackers! Monster Doughnut Eyeballs are a SUPER easy Halloween treat idea for your Halloween festivities! This is a fun treat idea to make with kids.
You will need: -mini powdered doughnuts -candy eyeballs(I got yellow and green ones) -white frosting -red gel food coloring Directions: Place some white frosting in a sandwich bag and cut off the tip. Pipe some frosting in the center of the doughnut and apply the candy eyeball. The frosting is essentially the glue that will hold the candy eyeball in place. Then using your red gel food coloring apply some squiggly lines down the sides of the doughnut for the veins of the eyeballs. I told you it was easy! In a recent Addams Family themed YouTube video my dad and I made some. Happy National Noodle Day!!! To celebrate the occasion I am reviewing Top Ramen by Nissin Foods NEW updated recipe. They also have some vegetarian flavors such as soy sauce and chili. So how exactly will these new changes to the recipe affect the taste? I decided to give their chicken flavor a try.
