Say whaaatt? Melt-proof ice cream? July is National Ice Cream Month so I wanted to make a unique ice cream inspired treat. This recipe is for very delicious Cheesecake Ice Cream Cones! It is so easy and won't melt like regular ice cream. This is a cute idea for parties and you can get very creative by flavoring the cream cheese filling and decorating the cones.
Ingredients: -8 oz of softened cream cheese -1 conatiner of thawed Cool Whip -1/2 tsp of vanilla extract -1/2 cup of powdered sugar -food coloring(I used pink) -sugar cones -maraschino cherries -sprinkles Directions: In a bowl blend the cream cheese with half of the container of Cool Whip(reserve the rest), vanilla and powdered sugar. Then mix in a few drops of food coloring. I decided to use pink so that it looks like strawberry "ice cream." Then place the cheesecake filling in a piping bag or you can use a sandwich bag and just cut off the tip. Pipe the cheesecake filling into the sugar cone. Then pipe the Cool Whip that you saved as the whipped cream topping. Lastly decorate with sprinkles and top with a cherry. Enjoy!
