I am OBSESSED with dessert dips. It is the easiest type of dessert to make and I could just literally eat it by the spoonful. To celebrate Mardi Gras I decided to whip up some King Cake Dip!
Ingredients: -1 (8 oz) container of Cool Whip -8 oz of cream cheese softened -1/4 cup of brown sugar -2 tsp of ground cinnamon -1 tsp of vanilla extract -purple, green and yellow sprinkles Directions: In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Then fold in the thawed Cool Whip until combined. Place in a serving bowl and top with sprinkles. Create three rows of sprinkles using purple, yellow and green. Store in the fridge until you are ready to serve, Enjoy with vanilla wafer cookies or graham crackers. It is soooo delicious! I told you it was easy. Enjoy!

This was so fun and very easy to make. It is a great Valentin'es day treat that you can make with kids or for your sweetheart! All you will need is a heart shaped pan(I got mine from Walmart), frosting, red gel icing and some refrigerated cookie dough.
I used refrigerated sugar cookie dough but you can use whatever you like. I added some flour to my sugar cookie dough to make it easier to work with. I also lined my heart shaped pan with parchment paper cut into the shape of a heart. Place the dough evenly into the pan and make sure you fill it to the shape of the heart. Then I let it just chill in the fridge for a bit. Next bake it in the oven according to the instructions on the back of your cookie dough. In my case, I baked it at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Let it cool completely before removing from the pan. Beginning icing your cookie with some frosting. I used store bought pink strawberry frosting for mine. Then write your message with red gel icing. Happy Valentine's Day! |
