This is such a fun craft idea to do with kids. Salt dough is easy to make and fun to paint. Please keep in mind it is NOT edible.
To make these adorable heart ornaments you will need: heart cookie cut outs 4 cups of flour 1 cup of salt 1 1/2 cups of warm water Directions: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Mix the flour and salt and slowly stir in the warm water. Once the mixture reaches a dough consistency roll out in between parchment paper with a rolling pin. Cut out into heart shapes and with a toothpick poke a hole near the top(this is for thew ribbon). Then place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 1 hour. Once ornaments are cool you can paint. Have fun!
