I enjoy making my own Holiday wreaths. I think it is so much fun and more personal. I found  so many great items at The Dollar Tree that I decided to make a festive Halloween Witch Wreath!
Picture
I bought everything for The Dollar Tree with the exception of the foam wreath.

You will need:
-a foam wreath, spray painted black
-black Halloween cloth
-black and purple garland
-Garland Witch hat decor
-purple/black flowers (The ones I found had eyeballs)
-bat clips
-purple battery operated lights
-black ribbon

Take your wreath and tie a loop at the top with the ribbon. This so that you can hang it. Then hot glue the black cloth around the wreath. I cut the cloth in half to make it easier for wrapping.

Then hot glue your garland around the wreath. Then secure the lights too.

Lastly, secure the the hat in the center with ribbon. Then using your glue gun, decorate the rest of the wreath with the flowers and bat clips. Get as creative and imaginative as you want. There are so many great festive finds at the dollar store!

I love to make wreaths because I  think it is a simple yet festive touch for any Holiday or season. I wanted to make a fun summer wreath  and came across some awesome flip flop wreath ideas.

You will need:
-wire wreath
-flip flops (I got 4 pairs from the dollar store)
-floral wire
-colorful mesh (I got pink)
-flower lei and gems for decorating the flip flops
-ribbon to hang the wreath

Directions:
First you will want to secure the flip flops to the wire wreath with the floral wire. You will need pliers. This is probably the most tedious process but it is the most important. The image below is how I secured the flip flops to the wreath.

Next take the mesh and wrap it around the wreath in between the flip flops. Wrap a few times to cover the wire wreath and hot glue to secure.

Next, cut some flowers from your lei and put on the front of the top of the flip flops with a hot glue gun. You can also add gems.

Lastly, cut a piece of ribbon and tie to the top of the wreath so that you can hang it.

Now you have a colorful Flip Flop Summer wreath!
