Who doesn't love Unicorns? They are magical after all! I decided to make a Unicorn Easter egg and it was rather simple to make.
You will need: -white boiled egg -gold glitter foam -white felt -black permanent marker -small fake flowers -pink paint -hot glue gun Directions: First you will want to make the glitter horn using the gold glitter foam paper. Cut a small piece into the shape of a half circle and fold into the shape of a cone. Glue to the top of the egg with your hot glue gun. Then glue some small fake flowers on the top of the egg by the horn. Next using your white felt cut the Unicorn ears and glue onto each side by the horn. Using the permanent marker draw eyelashes and just make a dab of pink paint for the cheeks.

Nothing says Spring like Flower Pots! I decided to make some cute Easter inspired flower pots. This craft idea a great one for kids. Here is what you need:
-Flower pots (I used plastic) -Acrylic paint(white, yellow and black) -felt -googly eyes -glitter(pink) -White foam paper (bunny ears) -hot glue gun -regular glue I went to my local Walmart and found some plastic flower pots for just 99 cents. These are great for little ones because they are lightweight and won't break unlike terracotta pots. The ones I chose were green( I didn't see any white plastic flower pots) so I painted one white (bunny) and the other yellow(chick). I did a few coats. Next I glued on some large googly eyes. For the chick I cut out the wings and beak with felt. For the bunny I painted the face and used some pink glitter. I used white foam paper for the ears and hot glued them to the front (behind the rim) of the flower pot. For inside the flower pot you can certainly use real flowers. I inserted some foam and I stuck some fake flowers from the Dollar Store and Easter grass inside instead. This Easter Egg Wreath is so pretty and very simple to make.
You will need: Straw wreath (I got mine at Michael's) Plastic Easter eggs Easter grass Ribbon Hot glue gun Directions: Tie a ribbon at the top of the wreath so that it will hang. Then create a pretty bow. Next begin to hot glue the plastic Easter eggs around the wreath. You will need to cover the top and the sides(don't worry about gluing eggs on the back of the wreath). Then glue the Easter grass in all of the spaces in between the eggs. Lastly, trim the grass so that it is even. This curious bunny in a flower pot is an adorable Easter decoration. I discovered it online and I just had to make one myself. It proved to be super easy and very cute!
You will need: A Small clay Pot Moss A pretty Flower Large white Pom Pom (3 in.) Small White Pom Pom Pink and White felt hot glue gun Directions: Place some moss and a flower inside the pot. Next glue the small white pom pom on top of the large pom pom (this will be the tail). Next cut the bunny feet with the white felt. Sort of create a tear drop shape pattern for the feet. Next cut out 4 pink round circles for the bottom of the bunny feet. and glue on to the white felt feet. Then cut around the bottom of the feet to create toes. Glue the feet to the end of the large pom pom just under the tail. Then place the large on top of the pot. Very simple and adorable! Transform ordinary plastic Easter eggs into adorable bunnies! This fun craft idea takes very little time and supplies.
You will need: Plastic Easter Eggs Colorful pipe cleaners white pom poms googly eyes glue gun Directions: Cut a pipe cleaner in half. Use this as one of the ears. Pull the pipe cleaner through one of the holes on the top of the egg creating a loop as the ear. Bend the ends of the pipe cleaner so that it doesn't slide out of the hole. Do the same for the other ear. For the feet do the same technique but cut a smaller piece of the pipe cleaner (1/4 of the pipe cleaner). Next with a hot glue gone glue a white pom pom on the back bottom half of the egg. This will be the bunny tail and allow the egg to sit up right. Then glue the googly eyes and draw a mouth. Then if you like you can fill the egg with jelly beans and other candy. |
