August is officially Back to School Month!! You are probably prepping the kiddos and doing tons of back to school shopping. I urge you to think about all the amazing teachers. This is such an easy gift idea for teachers. I was able to purchase all of these supplies from the local Dollar Tree which made this DIY idea super cost effective. You will need: -Round sheet pan(I chose to spray paint mine white) -Round plastic tupperware -2 small square Styrofoam blocks -pencils(I did 4 packages, a combo of #2 pencils and colorful pencils) -2 containers of glue -2 packages of crayons -rubber bands -ribbon -hot glue gun Start by hot gluing the plastic tupperware (rim side down) to the center of the round sheet pan. Next glue one Styrofoam block to the center of the tupperware. Then you want to trim the other block to about half the size and glue that on top of the other block.
Next wrap a large rubber band around the plastic tupperware. Then begin to place the pencils under the rubber band until the whole plastic container is covered. Take the 2 crayon boxes and glue bottle and rubber band the around the Styrofoam block that you made small. Then take the ribbon and hot glue and wrap it around the rubber bands to cover them. As a final touch, I placed some curly ribbon on top and hot glued some erasers around the base. Happy Back to School Month!
