Happy Spring! To celebrate the occasion here is a really cool idea for fun and colorful drip paint flower pots.
You will need: A terracotta flower pot white spray paint acrylic paint (whatever and however many colors you like) paper plate or newspaper something to elevate the pot (can or large bottle of paint) Directions: Spray paint the flower pot white and allow to dry. I did this so that the colors will really pop. Next flip the pot upside down and elevate over either a paper plate or newspaper. It is going to get messy. Next begin pouring the paint around the bottom rim of the flower pot. Squeeze a lot of paint so that it streams down. Add each color at a time and you will see the colors slowly spread and create a cool effect. You do not need to wait for each paint color to dry, you can apply numerous colors of paint one right after the other. Get as creative as you want. Allow plenty of time for it to dry.

Tie-Dye Easter Eggs are really simple and come out so colorful.
You will need: Hard Boiled Eggs Food coloring Paper towels Rubber bands Gloves Directions: Wrap a piece of a paper towel around the egg and secure with a rubber band. Make sure you are wearing gloves and begin dropping a few drops of various colors of food coloring around the egg. Once the paper towel is saturated in food coloring gently rub the outside of the egg just to ensure that the entire egg will be covered in color. Then remove the paper towel and then gently wipe the egg with a fresh piece of paper towel to wipe away excess food coloring. I used neon food coloring for bright colors. This Easter Egg Wreath is so pretty and very simple to make.
You will need: Straw wreath (I got mine at Michael's) Plastic Easter eggs Easter grass Ribbon Hot glue gun Directions: Tie a ribbon at the top of the wreath so that it will hang. Then create a pretty bow. Next begin to hot glue the plastic Easter eggs around the wreath. You will need to cover the top and the sides(don't worry about gluing eggs on the back of the wreath). Then glue the Easter grass in all of the spaces in between the eggs. Lastly, trim the grass so that it is even. This curious bunny in a flower pot is an adorable Easter decoration. I discovered it online and I just had to make one myself. It proved to be super easy and very cute!
You will need: A Small clay Pot Moss A pretty Flower Large white Pom Pom (3 in.) Small White Pom Pom Pink and White felt hot glue gun Directions: Place some moss and a flower inside the pot. Next glue the small white pom pom on top of the large pom pom (this will be the tail). Next cut the bunny feet with the white felt. Sort of create a tear drop shape pattern for the feet. Next cut out 4 pink round circles for the bottom of the bunny feet. and glue on to the white felt feet. Then cut around the bottom of the feet to create toes. Glue the feet to the end of the large pom pom just under the tail. Then place the large on top of the pot. Very simple and adorable! Transform ordinary plastic Easter eggs into adorable bunnies! This fun craft idea takes very little time and supplies.
You will need: Plastic Easter Eggs Colorful pipe cleaners white pom poms googly eyes glue gun Directions: Cut a pipe cleaner in half. Use this as one of the ears. Pull the pipe cleaner through one of the holes on the top of the egg creating a loop as the ear. Bend the ends of the pipe cleaner so that it doesn't slide out of the hole. Do the same for the other ear. For the feet do the same technique but cut a smaller piece of the pipe cleaner (1/4 of the pipe cleaner). Next with a hot glue gone glue a white pom pom on the back bottom half of the egg. This will be the bunny tail and allow the egg to sit up right. Then glue the googly eyes and draw a mouth. Then if you like you can fill the egg with jelly beans and other candy. |
