This past weekend I took a trip to Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Ct to attend a concert. . Since it is October I figured it was only right to do some Autumn activities.  So I went to B.F. Clyde's Cider Mill in Pawcatuck, CT.

B.F. Clyde's Cider Mill is the oldest steam powered cider mill in the U.S. Their shop has maple syrups, jams, kettle popcorn, fresh apple cider and of course apple cider donuts!

You know you love the pic of me enjoying a donut in my donut sweater! lol

My next stop was to get some grub and since I was in CT I really wanted some seafood.

Ford's Lobsters in Noank, Ct has a gorgeous view! I can imagine it is a great spot in the Spring and Summer months  but it is open year-round. You can dine inside or outside.
I chose to order a lobster roll and get the lobster bisque and it was DELICIOUS and it truly hit the spot on a cool fall day.

Be sure to check them out.

I checked out Applefest in Warwick, NY. It was my first time and I am glad I went.

There was so much food, vendors, music and more! Truly a fun event and a must see.  Parking is only $5 and surprisingly I didn't have much of an issue with traffic when I left. Although I still suggest you plan ahead and get there early. Also be sure to wear comfortable shoes because there is a lot to see and you will be doing a ton of walking.

I tried some deliciously warm apple fritters and I picked up some fresh apple cider. I highly recommend you try both, it is Applefest after all.

I will definitely come back next year.

Kelder's Farm

What I love most about Fall is being able to visit local farms and pick delicious apples and beautiful orange pumpkins. Kelder's Farm is one of my favorites and it is located right in my own  backyard.

Kelder's Farm is a 200-year old family farm located off Route 209 between Accord and Kerhonkson NY. You literally can't miss it because of it's main attraction, the world's largest garden gnome! I love that they dress him up according to the season or Holiday.

The farm features not only an abundance of fresh produce and goodies  but all sorts of fun attractions great for the kids. There is a petting zoo (which I love) with goats, pigs, sheep, a cow and more. There is a corn maze, a giant jumping pillow, pick-your- own pumpkin patch and mini golf.

Go ahead and plan a visit! Be sure to take a pic with the giant gnome!
